MEDIAN Group CEO, Philipp Schulte-Noelle, said: "By integrating the two facilities in Bad Saulgau, the MEDIAN Group is strengthening not only its regional presence, but also its expertise in psychosomatic acute care and rehabilitation medicine in Germany more widley. The planned acquisition is part of our ongoing growth strategy, with a focus on expanding our range of services in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation medicine at the highest level."
The Klinik am schönen Moos in Bad Saulgau provides psychosomatic rehabilitation services through an interdisciplinary treatment approach that integrates physical, psychological, and social aspects. The clinic is renowned for its high therapeutic standards, experienced multiprofessional team, and modern treatment facilities. Complementing this is the Akutklinik Bad Saulgau, a psychosomatic specialist clinic offering acute inpatient care.
The clinical strategy and medical focus at the clinics will remain unchanged and continue under the leadership of Ms. Andrea Traub. MEDIAN plans to carefully develop the facilities further, combining proven methods with innovative care concepts—such as digital aftercare. The aim is to enhance the unique profile of each institution while continuously improving patient care.
Dr Marc Baenkler, CEO of MEDIAN Germany commented: “I have extended a warm welcome to our new colleagues at our two new clinics in Bad Saulgau and look forward to further knowledge exchange and benefiting from the expertise they bring.
“Throughout this merger and the subsequent integration phase, we have been committed to maintaining the integrity, culture and character of the Bad Saulgau clinics – alongside the effective leadership structures already in place. I look forward to gradually implementing MEDIAN’s proven approach to quality measurement at both clinics in partnership with our new colleagues.”
With the integration of these two clinics, 150 new employees have now become part of MEDIAN Germany, providing care to approximately 2,200 patients annually across both facilities.
