Two CURA-Group clinics in Bad Saulgau to become part of MEDIAN Germany

  • The integration of two new facilities in Bad Saulgau is set to strengthen MEDIAN’s regional presence and deepen its expertise in psychosomatic acute care and rehabilitation medicine. 
  • The acquisition is part of MEDIAN Group’s growth strategy.

MEDIAN, a leading German provider of rehabilitation, mental health and sociotherapy, has acquired two new CURA-Group facilities in Bad Saulgau – complementing its portfolio of services.

MEDIAN Group CEO, Philipp Schulte-Noelle, said: “This planned acquisition underlines our growth strategy and ambition to expand our footprint within inpatient rehabilitation and acute medical care through targeted acquisitions – both nationally and internationally.

“Both facilities in Bad Saulgau are an ideal addition to MEDIAN Germany’s portfolio and strengthen our presence in Baden-Württemberg.”

The Klinik am schönen Moos in Bad Saulgau offers specialised rehabilitation for psychosomatic conditions, focusing on holistic treatment that addresses the physical, emotional and social needs of each patient. It emphasises effective, personalised care delivered by a skilled, interdisciplinary team in state-of-the-art therapy facilities.

These services are complemented by the Acute Klinik in Bad Saulgau, which provides acute inpatient treatment for psychosomatic conditions.

Together, the two clinics have a team of over 200 staff members and support 2,200 patients a year.

This transaction is subject to approval by the Bundeskartellamt in Germany. The purchase price remains confidential.
