This treatment programme aims to start rehabilitation as soon as possible to improve a patient’s prognosis.
Many patients are weaned off ventilation from within our rehabilitation units and can already begin rehabilitative therapy before this process is complete. This increases the chances of those patients who have been severely impacted, of returning to an independent life.
Our highly specialised teams of doctors, neuropsychologists, specially trained nurses and therapists assist patients throughout the whole treatment pathway. This is often a very long and intensive period which enables individualised therapy. Close cooperation with a patient’s relatives is essential.
